Re: ⚽ West Ham v Aston Villa - Official Match Thread
Pellegrini also beat Chelsea.. He was going along at a point a game, he was sacked because a point a game isn't good enough and was considered relegation form if it had carried on.

It did carry on under Moyes, but we didn't get relegated, you or I gave no way of knowing that Pellegrini could have got more or less points.. The only fact is that Moyes didn't improve us statistically, that's the bottom line, they didn't employ him not to improve our points per game..

A point a game was rightly stackable then.. Yet now it's success?

How do you know when a plane load of WHOers arrive at the airport?

The whining continues when the engines stop. . .

Something happened behind the scenes ... maybe it was just that Pellegrini realised the scale of CUNT that GSB are ... but Pellegrini had checked out a month or two before he went.
Was just waiting for his payout and had given up

Amazed at some on here that think next season we will push on. Really, you haven’t supported West Ham long enough if you think that.

Nothing much ever changes at West Ham. The odd bit of success and the one or two good games with a scalp or two, Spurs etc is what brings you back.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Aston Villa - Official Match Thread
Not at all bizarre Fraser. Statistics don’t tell the full story. Pellegrini’s stats would have got worse. Moyes managed to turn things around to the point where we beat Chelsea, drew with Man Utd and tore Watford apart in a must win game. Bizarre you can’t or won’t see that.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Aston Villa - Official Match Thread
Pellegrini took 6 points from his last 6 games - not good enough..

Moyes kept exactly the same points average with the next 19 games with additional players.. A success...

Bizarre...

Youngster Johnson looked the most accomplished player on the pitch.
To think the lad has been out for nigh on eighteen months I thought he was superb.
Frederick's is an embarrassment of a professional footballer hopefully him and the other two Haller and Anderson won't be here next season.
For what they have contributed I'd rather look at the championship and get some hungry youngsters who want to die for the shirt.
Or can't you say that anymore?

Is it too early to start a relegation thread? Sorry to be on a downer , I’m just trying to think of the three worse teams than us next season .

It was obvious the players werent up for it after 5 minutes .But that was always going to be the case . The biggest problem is
the 3 parasites. not moyes . While they remain we're fucked .They know it .we know it . And it's all down to one thing GREED.

Fuck all going to change while the SPIVS call the shots. Moaning about managers and players is what they want. It shifts part of the blame away from them. The only way this changes. For better or worse. Is when they up sticks and go.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Aston Villa - Official Match Thread
Pellegrini would have taken a demoralised bunch of show ponies down. Moyes made two exceptional long term signings in Soucek and Bowen and got Antonio scoring. He kept us up and if we can shift out the lightweights and focus on youth and hungry players next year- which is what he says he wants to do- we’ll be the reasonably successful mid table team we should be. Moyes has done well. That doesn’t sit well with the narratives of many of you but it’s simply the truth.

Wonder if we we see legal action, as Villa got a point from dodgy goal line tech. Bournemouth will be pissed?

How can you think its positive we just avoided relegation, played tugid football most the year and most the players cant be bothered to turn up on the last game. Look at the table. Look at some of those teams and squads above us. Its laughable you can be happy with that? As for todays game being dead rubber, every game is important. They are professional players paide thousands a week and should be motivated and competitive every time they play. Embaressing today how slow a negative it was but I'm not surprised given the absense of character and leadership shown at times.

wake the fuck up? the limit of many fans now is giving it a proper go in one of the cups. that's how demoralised and low they've dragged down the expectations. champions league is meaningless when they're not even interested getting past the first rew rounds of the league cup when the players are still fit & fresh. they're the worst thing to happen to the club, and that's quite a feat after some of the other shit that's owned us

It don't matter if you are 4th or 14th. You earn your wages every game you play.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Aston Villa - Official Match Thread
People expect nothing of the sort

Most of the ‘negative’ comments have been about certain players who have contributed nothing to us getting out of trouble and deserve to be called out for their dismal efforts.
Before they are hopefully moved on

Disappointed with some of the negative comments on here. We came back in real danger of going down and lost the first two games. To get out of it showed guts and character beyond belief and certainly surprised me. Today wasn’t about us it was about Villa and they got their tactics right. I am not going to slag the Manager or squad off about today’s game. Well done for staying up and I think if we finally get our transfer policy sorted we wil
L have a better squad next season and the results will come. A few years stability and we can push on. You can’t do it overnight as we have been trying to do for the last three seasons. It does not happen. It has taken City fucking years to challenge for the CL seriously and some on here expect us to be top four and winning trophies immediately. Wake the fuck up!

Disappointed Villa stayed up, it's just another team that's going to be better than us next season.
